The upholstered assemblage is a stand in for a particular American nostalgia for cars and road trips and the tufted ruby red vinyl references destinations of the same nostalgia. The viewer is entertained by the car seat monitors looping videos of eastern and western landscapes. The varied viewpoints reflect on what is perceived and ultimately what is remembered by viewers in the same vantage point.
