Fringe (framed)

Fringe (framed) and Sparkles (framed), include monitors embedded in puff quilts contained in a wood frame. The monitors loop videos depicting grass (fringe) and holographic ribbon (sparkles) affected by the wind. Reminiscent of the poem, “Who Has Seen the Wind,” by Christina Rossetti and the novel of the same name by W.O. Mitchell, both framed works intended to present sensory experiences that make transient moments concrete.
